Saint Joseph, Most Chaste Rosary
Both horn and onyx appear many times throughout the Bible.
In Psalms (75 and 92), Luke, and 1 Samuel, having one’s horn raised is connected to being blessed and honored by God. Jesus is also referred to as the “Horn of Salvation”. As the step-father of Jesus, I wanted to pay homage to Saint Joseph’s Jewish roots and culture, his righteousness and the blessings he received as the earthly father of Our Lord.
The polished onyx Our Father beads provide a beautiful contrast in both appearance and texture. Understated but beautiful, this rosary would make a wonderful addition to any Catholic’s rosary collection.
