Saint Joseph the Carpenter Rosary
For this Saint Joseph rosary I chose to use jasper for the main material because in art Saint Joseph is commonly depicted in red. The red jasper I used is naturally a very beautiful stone which is strong but understated, like Saint Joseph himself.
I paired it with Jerusalem olive wood as a nod to Saint Joseph’s origins and heritage. I also wanted to include wood to commemorate his occupation as a carpenter, because of where he lived and worked, I like to think that he probably carved a lot of Jerusalem olive wood in his time.
